We’re excited to invite you to Pitzer College’s Founders Day - Day of Service! This special day celebrates Pitzer’s commitment to social responsibility by giving back to our communities, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Local Service Opportunity:
In collaboration with Promise Scholars and the Ontario Montclair School District (OMSD), Pitzer’s Community Engagement Center (CEC) is hosting 300 eighth graders from Vernon Middle School for an unforgettable day on campus. The event includes campus tours, a student panel, a mock-lecture session, and a shared lunch.

The first ten people to sign up will receive a vintage 1963 Pitzer T-shirt.

Time:
9-10:15 a.m. - Campus Tours
10:15-11 a.m. - Student Panel (Observe)
11 a.m.-12 p.m. - Mock Lecture (Observe)
12:30-1 p.m. – Lunch Clean Up
Location: Pitzer College Campus
Volunteers are needed for the following roles:
Campus Tours: Partner with current Pitzer students to showcase campus highlights.
Clean Up After Lunch: Assist in tidying up to ensure the campus remains clean and inviting.

Can’t join us on campus? Alumni around the globe are invited to participate in service projects in their local communities. Whether it’s organizing a beach cleanup, volunteering at a food pantry, mentoring students, or planting trees, every act of service counts.
